Bruce Foxton & Friends | Up Close & Personal

Sunday 19th & Monday 20th July ‘26

Few names carry the quiet authority of Bruce Foxton.
As the unmistakable heartbeat of The Jam, his melodic bass lines, song writing fire, and working-class soul helped shape the sound and spirit of British music itself—songs that didn’t just climb charts, but carved their place into the cultural bloodstream.

Now, in an intimate, close-quarters setting, Foxton steps forward with a hand-picked cast of true rock lineage. Joining him on stage are Big Country’s thunderous founding drummer Mark Brzezicki, Romeo Daughters architect Craig Joiner, Secret Affair’s master of keys Andy Fairclough, and former Animals, Steve Cropper and Clearwater vocalist Peter Barton—a gathering of musicians whose combined history reads like a living map of modern British rock.

Together, they ignite a night steeped in legacy yet alive with urgency—revisiting the timeless electricity of The Jam through an unfiltered, deeply human lens.
Expect the pulse of “Town Called Malice,” the defiant charge of “The Eton Rifles,” the underground anthem “Going Underground,” the sharp brilliance of “Start!” and more—songs that still speak with undimmed relevance, power, and truth.

Live at the Crooked Billet, Stoke Row. Not nostalgia. Not tribute.

History—still breathing.
